Turning Knowledge into Action: Farrah’s Success Story ⭐️

Last weekend, I taught my last class of the year (with the exception of Cashing in on Mobile Homes Advanced LIVE on January 24th & 25th). One of the other educators at the event was one of my ⭐️ students, Farrah Lane. 

 

During this three-day class, Farrah took some negotiating advice I taught, put it into action immediately, and even shared her experience with the group by the end of the event! 🙌 It was an incredible moment that truly demonstrated the power of taking Massive Imperfect Action. 

 

Here’s what happened: 

 

I taught the importance of always asking for a counteroffer or exploring what terms might work for the other party, especially when dealing with an agent. In my workbook, I provided some example lines to use in negotiations. 

 

Farrah found herself at a standstill with an agent because they were far apart on price. Instead of giving up, she decided to try one of the negotiating lines from the workbook. She picked her favorite, typed it out to the agent, and hit send. 💬✉️ 

 

The agent’s response? Positive! 👍 They asked Farrah what kind of payment terms would work for her. Just like that, a dead negotiation came back to life! 🌟 

 

Farrah quickly calculated what monthly payments she could afford while staying profitable. They messaged back and forth, exploring terms. While the deal hasn’t closed yet, the fact that Farrah revived the conversation is a win in itself. 🏆 

 

The lesson here? Taking action—even when it’s imperfect—is better than not acting at all. Every time Farrah practices this approach, she’s putting herself in a position to close more profitable deals. 💰 

 

 

My Approach to Learning and Action ✍️ 

 

I used to attend classes, get excited about new strategies, and then… do nothing. 😅 I’d leave with notebooks full of ideas that I never implemented. Sound familiar? 

 

Now, I approach events and classes with a different mindset. Before I leave, I commit to putting at least one thing into action—or I set a specific deadline to follow through. 🗓️ This small shift has made a huge difference in my success. 

 

If there’s one takeaway I’d share, it’s this: Knowledge is only powerful when you use it. 💡
