As investors, we are always seeking a higher return on our investment, which is one reason I landed on the niche of investing in individual mobile homes with the land.  We know this produces some of the highest ROI able to be found right now, yet there’s a more important reason to invest in them…

 

Mobile Homes are RECESSION RESISTANT! 

 

I think we can all agree we are either in a recession, about to be in a recession, or one day will find out the definition of a recession.  I read on the internet, so it much be true, the average American two-household income has about $200 extra dollars a month.  When the recession happens and one of them loses their job what will happen?  They will have to move down a rent level, right?  This continues all the way down to the affordable housing level. 

 

In most parts of our country, there is higher demand than supply in the affordable housing space.  While in a recession, this demand will grow. Textbook economics teaches us with higher demand than supply, we can raise our rents.  In my perspective, this is the bonus if I decide to raise rent.  I am really counting on the fact there will be a large number of potential applicants to pick the very best person to, not only pay rent on time but take care of the property.  I am not going to risk not being able to pay my bills in a recession! 

 

 

I am not asking you to sell all your rentals and buy mobile homes like I did, but I challenge you to consider adding some mobile homes to your business. I want you to make it to the other side of a recession stronger than you started!
